Rebuilding Futures
At our core, we believe in second chances. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Rebuilding Futures Alliance (RFA) - a groundbreaking initiative designed to help people with past convictions rebuild their lives through meaningful employment in Britain’s transport sector.
Launched by transport expert Chris Leech MBE, the RFA is tackling two pressing challenges at once: the pressure on prison places and the ongoing workforce shortages in transport. By bringing together over 100 past-conviction charities and working directly with major employers, the Alliance is creating a vital bridge between skilled job seekers and an industry in need of talent.
For many leaving the justice system, the hardest part isn’t just serving time, it’s finding a way forward. The RFA offers exactly that: a pathway out of the cycle of criminality and into skilled, stable work across rail, bus, and metro networks. It’s not just about jobs, it’s about dignity, purpose, and a future built on something stronger than a past mistake.
We believe businesses have a role to play in driving real change. Everyone deserves the opportunity to prove who they are today, not be defined by yesterday. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with the right support, it does happen. And we’re honoured to be part of it.
